    Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about touch tapping, auto counting, sleep timer, and shortcuts.

How does the Touch & Auto Counter work?

The Touch & Auto Counter offers two peaceful chanting modes. In Touch Mode, tap anywhere on the count halo or use keyboard keys (Spacebar, Up Arrow, or Mouse Scroll) to log each mantra repetition with authentic wooden bead clicks and gentle haptic feedback. In Auto Mode, set your desired chanting pace (from 0.5 to 10 seconds per jap) and let the digital counter advance automatically hands-free.

Can I automatically pause after completing 1 Mala (108 chants)?

Yes. In Auto Counter mode, you can check "Pause automatically after 1 Mala (108 chants)". When 108 repetitions are reached, the counter chimes a sacred temple bell and pauses auto-chanting, allowing you to reflect or begin your next mala at your own pace.

What is Zen Focus Mode and how does it help?

Zen Focus Mode strips away all headers, navigation bars, and visual distractions, leaving only the sacred counting halo in an immersive, full-screen sanctuary. It keeps your device screen awake while chanting so you can maintain unbroken meditative focus.

Does the counter work offline without internet?

Yes. The entire counter is 100% offline-ready as a Progressive Web App (PWA). All your daily counts, streaks, and target history are saved securely on your local device storage with zero login required.

How does the Bedtime Sleep Timer feature work in Auto Counter?

The Bedtime Sleep Timer allows you to chant until you drift into peaceful sleep. You can set the timer by duration in minutes (e.g., 15, 30, 45 minutes) or by a specific goal of Malas (e.g., 1, 2, 5 Malas). Once the goal or time elapses, auto-chanting gently concludes automatically.

Can I count using keyboard shortcuts on my laptop or PC?

Yes. When using a computer or laptop, you can press Spacebar, +, Arrow Up, or use your Mouse Scroll Wheel to register counts effortlessly without looking at the screen or clicking the mouse.
